MobileScan™ Simple, Powerful Barcode Scanning Solution

MobileScan^TM is the simple, powerful barcode data capture solution that is extremely versatile and also quick to deploy. The MobileScan solution can be used for mobile retail applications, mobile inventory, field service, field sales, gathering market research data or any other data collection task.

 MobileScan software is designed specifically for BlackBerry and Windows Mobile wireless handsets* and the OPL 2724 Bluetooth^TM barcode scanner. The included "plug-and-work" software lets you instantly scan barcodes directly into any available application on your handheld (including custom software, off-the-shelf software, web forms and more). MobileScan is also compatible with every Alltel preferred solution running on either BlackBerry or Windows Mobile Smartphones.

 The OPL 2724 scanner is rugged enough to travel anywhere with you, yet small enough to easily fit on a work belt or in a pocket or purse. The field ready OPL 2724 is designed to meet IP 54 standards for dust and moisture intrusion, and is certified to resist a four (4) foot drop to concrete.

 For companies interested in creating their own custom application, MobileScan is also available as an SDK (Software Development Kit). You get the integration freedom to customize how you take advantage of each barcode scanning feature. The SDK comes in versions for BlackBerry J2ME development and for Windows Mobile .NET development. Both versions include hardware drivers, example test programs and complete development API's and code.
