Federal Tax ID Number (FEIN) change announcement
Attention Alltel Business Customers:
As a result of going private, our Tax ID number has changed for income tax purposes.
- Our new Federal Tax ID Number is 34-0868285.
- Alltel now owns and operates former Alltel Communications, Inc, Western Wireless and Cellular One companies. This number is appropriate for those businesses, as well.
Please update your income tax information accordingly. Download Alltel’s 2008 w-9 form (Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification) to replace your current Alltel w-9 form. There will be no changes to your Alltel wireless service.
